Refund policy

So, you’ve purchased a digital product from ThemeForest, but something’s off, and you’re wondering about refunds. We understand. Let’s dive right into the details, keeping it clear and straightforward.

Firstly, digital goods, like the ones we offer, can’t be returned like physical items. But fret not! Our support team is ready to assist if you encounter a technical issue. Just reach out, and they’ll troubleshoot the problem with you.


Envato’s refund policy was made to be transparent so your experience is as smooth as possible and gives you a “fair go” by using a baseline standard.

Refund guidelines

There are specific situations where you might be eligible for a refund:

  • The theme is “not as described” or doesn’t work as it should. If the theme doesn’t work as described or significantly differs from what was shown, we’ll fix it. If fixing isn’t possible or is not as described, you can get a refund.
  • The theme has a security vulnerability. Safety is paramount. If the theme has a security vulnerability that can’t be fixed easily, we’ll refund your purchase.
  • Theme support is promised but not provided. If you were promised support but didn’t receive it per our policy and have a valid support entitlement, you’re eligible for a refund.
  • Themes that have not been downloaded. If you haven’t downloaded your purchase within three months (or longer for personal use), you might qualify for a refund.

Refunds will not be given for the following reasons:

  • You don’t want the theme after you’ve downloaded it.
  • The theme did not meet your expectations, or you feel the theme is of low quality.
  • You bought it by mistake.
  • You do not have sufficient expertise to use the theme.
