Installing the theme via WordPress

To install the theme, you must have a WordPress copy installed on your server. Check with the WordPress information article.

Server requirements

Take a moment to review the server requirements before installation, or you may encounter issues when using our themes.

Consider hosting companies like SiteGround that offer modern PHP versions (8.0+) and caching layers like Varnish. Reliable hosting forms the foundation of a speedy website.

Step 1 – Download the theme files

Download the theme files from ThemeForest > Downloads tab:

Step 2 – Upload the theme and activate

  1. Head to Appearance -> Themes.
  2. Click the Add New button at the top of the screen and click the Upload Theme button.
  3. Upload the theme-name.zip file from your computer and click Install Now.
  4. Once you activate the theme, you will see a notification message to install the required plugins.

Errors and troubleshooting

If you are encountering a WordPress error message or white screen, don’t panic. Someone has likely encountered the same message, which can easily be solved. Please see Cannot upload the theme article.

Installing the theme via FTP

This method is used when your server doesn’t allow uploading large files.

  1. Log into your hosting account via your FTP software client (FileZilla, WinSCP, Transmit or your preferred FTP client).
  2. Unzip the theme-name.zip file. Use only the extracted theme folder. Upload the extracted theme folder into wp-content -> themes folder and wait for the upload.
  3. Activate the newly installed theme by navigating to Appearance > Themes and clicking the Activate button.
  4. Once you activate the theme, you will see a notification message to install the required plugins.
