Elementor Site Settings

Elementor Site Settings panel streamlines your site customization process, bringing all essential options under one roof. You have options to control the Design System which consists of Global Colors and Global Fonts, Theme Builder which consists of Typography, Buttons, Images, and Form Fields settings, and User Preferences, which consists of Site Identity where you can manage your site logo and favicon, Background, Layout, and Lightbox settings.

Here’s your guide to efficiently manage your site’s design, layout, and user preferences.

Accessing the Site Settings panel

Each Elementor option that can be applied across your site is a part of the Site Settings, which are centrally located within the Elementor Editor.

  1. Edit any page with Elementor.
  2. Click the hamburger menu icon in the upper left corner of the Elementor Widget Panel.
  3. Select Site Settings from the menu.

Selecting colors for your theme (Global Colors)

Just about every color in your theme is customizable. Set predefined global colors (Primary, Secondary, Text, and Accent colors), or create new global colors for use across your site. Paste your color hex codes to the provided fields or click on a swatch to edit the colors.

Change a global color:

  1. Open the Site Settings panel.
  2. Click Global Colors.
  3. Go to a font label called Primary (it’s listed under System Colors).
  4. Click the color swatch to open the Color Picker and select the color you want.
  5. Close the menu.

Selecting fonts for your theme (Global Fonts)

When building a website, your fonts should be the same across your entire site to improve the overall look. Update your website fonts from one convenient location to prevent you from having to open website parts and change them individually repeatedly. Set and edit predefined global typography styles (Primary, Secondary, Text, and Accent) or create new global text styles for use across your site.

Change a global font:

  1. Open the Site Settings panel.
  2. Click Global Fonts.
  3. Go to the font labeled Primary (it’s listed under System Fonts).
  4. Select the Pencil icon.
  5. Change attributes in the Typography menu.
  6. Close the menu.

Note:

Changing Global Fonts and Colors impacts all instances of the selected font and color across your website.

By utilizing the Site Settings panel, you can ensure consistent color schemes and typography styles throughout your entire website, enhancing its overall visual appeal. Happy designing!
